To register your organization to obtain drone license here are the necessary documents that you need to submit to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA)
- Security clearance issued by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA)
- “UA operator registration letter”
- Subscribe to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) e-publication service and sending the evidence of the same to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA)
- Proof of insurance
Once the information provided is accurate and true of all facts. It will take around three weeks to receive Unnamed Aircraft Operator Authorization (UOA)

- Register for an operator training certificate program which is endorsed by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) to obtain the Remotely piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Certificate
- Register your drone with Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA)
- Obtain No Objection Certificate
- Submit the following documents:
- Company name
- Address of the company
- Company trade license
- Emirates ID
- Passport copy with visa
- Passport photo
- RPAS serial number, and photo
- Insurance
- Operator training certificate
- Apply for No Objection Certificate (NOC)
All the organization has to apply for No Objection Certificate (NOC) for aerial works in Dubai
The organization also needs to apply for operational approval or security clearance before a flight.
