Business setup in Dubai Airport Free Zone
Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) is one of the fastest free zones in the region and it was established in 1996. The DAFZA is presently home to 1,600 companies from across the world.
Types of licenses:
- Trading license
- Service license
- General trading license
- Industrial license
Required Documents for setting up a branch company in Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority
- Certificate of Registration or Certificate of Incorporation of the parent Company (attested and notarized).
- Certificate of Good Standing of the parent Company (attested and notarized).
- Memorandum of Association and also Articles of Association of the parent Company (attested and notarized).
- Board Resolution (attested and notarized).
- Valid Passport Copy of Manager’s.
- Specimen signature of the manager (attested & notarized).
Following are the required documents for setting up a Free Zone
Establishment in DAFZA
For Individual shareholders
- Shareholder’s personal details or profile.
- Specimen Signature of shareholder’s (attested and notarized)
- Valid passport copies of shareholders.
- Original NOC from current sponsor (only for non-UAE Nationals).
- Current Sponsor Passport Copy.
- Appointment of Manager, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative (notarized and attested).
- Power of Attorney for Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative (notarized and attested).
- Valid Passport Copy of Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative.
- Specimen Signature of Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative (notarized and attested).
- Original bank statement of the share capital of AED 1,000,000/- allocated for the FZE.
For Non – Individual shareholders
- Registration Certificate or Certificate of Incorporation of the parent Company (notarized & attested).
- Certificate of Good Standing of the parent Company (attested & notarized).
- Memorandum of Association and also Articles of Association of the parent Company (notarized & attested).
- Board Resolution (notarized & attested).
- Appointment of Manager (Notarized & Attested).
- Valid Passport Copy of Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also Legal representative.
- Manager’s Power of Attorney (Notarized & Attested).
- Specimen Signature of Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also Legal representative (notarized & attested).
- Bank Statement of Share Capital of AED 1,000,000/- allocated for the Free Zone Establishment (Original).

- Memorandum of Association and also Articles of Association of the parent Company (notarized & attested).
- Board Resolution (notarized & attested).
- Appointment of Manager, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative (notarized and attested).
- Valid Passport Copy of Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative.
- Specimen Signature of Manager’s, Director, Secretary and also the legal representative (notarized and attested).
- Bank Statement of Share Capital minimum of AED 500,000/- allocated for the Free Zone Company (Original).
