The complete process for obtaining a license to start a clinic can be divided into following steps

Step 1:

You have to file an online application with Department of Economic Development (DED) for reservation of trade name. Then you can initiate the further process for setting up a clinic in Dubai.

Step 2:

After the reservation of trade name, you have to file an application with DED for obtaining initial approval for a clinic. Then you have to file an application along with several necessary documents including his passport copy.

Step 3:

You have to file an application with DHA to get the license with documents like feasibility report for proposed clinic.

Step 4:

You have to prepare and execute the documents including Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association and lease agreements etc. for the purpose of registering a limited liability company with DED.

Step 5:

Trade license

Submit all the completed documents along with copy of receipt of initial approval and also payment of fee for registering the LLC with Department of Economic Development (DED). The DED will issue the trade license in the name of clinic after verification of these documents.

DHA License

For obtaining DHA License, you can apply online by creating your user id on DHA portal. Then you have to give the details of medical professionals and licensed consultant to work under the proposed clinic. The DHA will verify the same and also issue a license to setup a clinic.
