How to Get an Investor Visa in Dubai?

There are two different ways you can apply for an investor visa in Dubai: you can be a new company or have existing investments.

New company incorporation If you plan on investing in a new company, a mainland business is the easiest way to go. Here are the steps you’ll have to take to get your Dubai investor visa as a new company:

  • Register your company with the Dubai Economic Department (DED)
  • Apply for your company’s establishment card
  • If you are outside of the country, you’ll need to apply for your entry permit to the UAE
  • If you’re already in the UAE, then you will have to get your in-country visa status changed
  • You will be required to perform a medical test
  • Apply for your Emirates ID
  • Get health insurance
  • Get your passport stamped

Proof of existing investments

  • Provide proof of the investments from your existing company to the Dubai Municipality
  • If approved, a file will be created with the Economic Department
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be issued
